Hannah in Zhuhai

SEPTEMBER 2017 

 

 

Hannah won 2nd prize at the 2nd Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians. She played Mozart's Concerto in C major, K. 467 with the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, conducted by Lavard Skou Larsen, at the Concert Hall of the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Hannah performed as Guest Artist at the Herald Sun Aria Final Concert at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne. She performed duo works with cellist Vincent Wang, as well as a Debussy solo.

Hannah at Romsey

'Brilliant 16-year-old pianist, student of Glenn Riddle at Melbourne University. She has performed worldwide, and will play an exciting programme spanning Mozart to Stravinsky.'

Hannah presented her first full-length solo recital at the Cope-Williams Arts Foundation in Romsey.

Hannah won 5th prize at the 1st Beijing International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists, performing Chopin's Concert Rondo "Krakowiak" with the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Lin Chen, at the China Central Conservatory of Music's Concert Hall.

Hannah was awarded the Margaret Schofield Memorial Prize for the performance of Chopin from the Royal South Street Society.

Hannah returned to the Music Lovers' Society for a solo recital, featuring works by Chopin, Scriabin and Beethoven's Hammerklavier.

Hannah was invited to perform as part of the Australian Showcase at the prestigious Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia. She presented a short program of works by Chopin, at Sydney Conservatorium of Music's Verbrugghen Hall.

Hannah with the Zelman Memorial Symphony Orchestra

Hannah performed Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 2 in A major with the Zelman Memorial Symphony Orchestra at the Hawthorn Arts Centre, conducted by Mark Shiell, and was named the winner of the 2016 Boroondara Eisteddfod Piano Concerto Award.

Hannah performed Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Frankston Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Thaddeus Huang, and won First Prize at the Vera Bradford Youth Concerto Competition.

Hannah won the top prize at the 6th ASEAN International Chopin Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She performed Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Poland International Quartet.

Hannah won Second Prize, Audience Prize and Best Etude Prize at the 4th Thailand International Piano Competition, where she performed Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Alfonso Scarano, in the Prince Mahidol Hall.
